Attending a Fair

At a fair, you can discover a job you didn't know existed, learn which skills you need for specific positions, and network with a variety of companies. At the same time, employers can learn more about who you are and how you could fit in with their company.

Some Career Success fairs are conducted virtually through the Handshake Virtual Fair Platform. For more information on how to use the platform, check out the resources below:

Additional reminders and tips if you want to participate in a Handshake Virtual Career Fair:

  • Update your Handshake profile and check your profile privacy settings
  • Prepare for the day of the event
    • Dress in professional attire
    • Have your talking points and resume ready
    • Make sure your technology is working
  • Plan ahead and sign up for employer sessions in advance

2024 Meet the Firms Virtual Career & Internship Fair

September 18th, 2024 | 10 am - 1 pm | Virtual 

Students in Business, Management or Economics, want to meet with representatives virtually? Meet the Firms Career & Internship Fair will introduce you to accounting firms and government entities so you can explore your career opportunities in accounting! Accounting recruiting cycles end in the Fall, so don’t miss out on this great opportunity!

 

2024 Student Employment & Work-Study Fair

September 25th, 2024 | 10 am - 12:30 pm | Quarry Plaza

Looking for an on-campus and/or work-study role? Network with on-campus departments actively searching for new student employees, including a key focus on employers offering work-study positions. Students from all class levels and disciplines are encouraged to attend.

 

2024 STEM Career & Internship Fair

October 9th, 2024 | 11 am - 3 pm | Main Campus (TBD)

If you are interested in pursuing a career in STEM, then take advantage of this opportunity to meet recruiters from companies looking to fill various positions (both technical and non-technical). Learn more about internships and full-time career opportunities. Undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent alumni are all welcome to attend!

 

2024 Business, Arts, Social Sciences & Humanities Career & Internship Fair

October 16th, 2024 | 11 am - 3 pm | Stevenson Event Center

Undergraduate and graduate students and recent alumni interested in pursuing careers in these industries are welcome to attend. Get the chance to meet recruiters from relevant industries/firms seeking to fill positions from a wide variety of company representatives and hiring managers looking to fill both internship, full-time, and part-time roles. November 6th & 7th, 2024 | 11 am - 3 pm | Main Campus (TBD)

Undergraduate and graduate students and recent alumni interested in pursuing continuing education opportunities are welcome to attend.
